I don’t typically write these type of post —which speaks to the quality of JM Modern. I’ve been training at JM Modern for about 7 months —my experience has been awesome. I’ve learned so much from Josh, his team, Brian Miller, and the quality Jui Jitsu artists that train at JM Modern. Everyone is so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge. Perhaps the best compliment I can pay to Josh is to place my daughter’s training in his, and Brian Miller’s, hands. She starts training tomorrow and is so excited to get started!!!
I've been training here for a while now, primarily for fitness and fun, and it's been a great experience.
The instruction is solid, and I've had the chance to train with people of all experience levels. Everyone has been respectful, welcoming, and willing to help each other improve.
If you're looking for a gym where you can learn jiu-jitsu or sambo, get a good workout, and be part of a positive training environment, I'd recommend giving this place a try.
JM Modern Jiu Jitsu is truly an exceptional place to train, and it all starts with the incredible owners. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they genuinely care about every single student. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming, supportive, and motivating environment, making sure everyone feels valued and gets the personal attention they need to grow. It's clear they invest their heart and soul into building a fantastic community and it absolutely shines through in the quality of instruction and the overall atmosphere.
