Ricci assisted us with my mom’s funeral, and I know for sure that as hard as it was emotionally, Ricci helped out 100% and made things bearable in our time of grief. From our very first interaction with this funeral home while preparing for my mother-in-law’s passing, the experience felt like a constant sales pitch paired with a series of avoidable mistakes. At Greenoaks, the representative assisting us struggled with basic data entry, frequently making errors that required repeated corrections. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly asked about upgrades and add-ons, which felt inappropriate given the circumstances.
When the staff came to transport her from the rest home, one of the individuals was notably rude to both my father-in-law and me, which came across as highly unprofessional. Later, my father-in-law was asked to return and provide the same information again, adding unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.
The issues continued when we went to pick up her remains—the process was disorganized and lacked professionalism. Even the death certificates contained multiple typographical errors, requiring further follow-up to correct.
Overall, the experience was frustrating from beginning to end. I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative options.

All staff (Jennifer, Ricci & Blake) were the perfect professionals for what could’ve been a daunting experience! They worked hard to make this an event to be proud of.
