“I loved my experience here! There was one patient being tended to when I arrived. I was instructed to take a seat and would be attended to shortly. I was immediately called up once the patient in front of me was taken to the back. She took my information, and I started with, “Can you check if you take my insurance?” I showed her the card, and she asked if it was out of state. I’m from Louisiana, just not Baton Rouge. She proceeded to enter all of the insurance information, along with my parents’ information, since the insurance is through them. After almost 15 minutes of inputting information and looking, she was able to pull it up. Apparently my insurance is a smaller name under a larger name. I was incredibly appreciative of her time spent trying to get me the care I so desperately needed. I was immediately taken back and had my vitals checked. Mind you, I’m go going to the back around 7:00 (they close at 7:30). The nurse ran multiple tests to check for Covid and the Flu. All were negative. At this point, I’m in shambles because I thought I had meningitis due to my severe fever and neck/head pain. The doctor checked me out at this point, and decided to order a chest x-ray. Turns out, I had a lower lobe pneumonia infection. They gave me a shot and worked with me to get my Rxs to the correct pharmacy since I’m not from this town. By the end, I left around 8:00 pm. I was scared they would rush me out once it hit 7:30, but they continued to search for what was wrong. They all took excellent care of me (the receptionist, the nurse, the doctor, and the x-ray tech). Thank you Ochsner for helping me when I was at my lowest. I was sick away from my family for the first time, and I was in a brand new town. If you need an urgent care in Central, you will see another urgent care with better reviews. Don’t fall for it and go there like I did. Go to Ochsner.“

“This was my first time here. I was nervous at first after seeing the reviews, but I still decided to go, and I am glad I did. My experience was amazing! Everyone was so sweet, kind, and answered any questions I had. I went in to get birth control, and everything was fast, quick, and painless. Y'all are doing an amazing job.“

“The staff with the dental was very friendly it was years ago and I still remember Dr. Day & Lauren Thurmon there names just stood out and I really don't forget names and faces if you are someone who did something special or worth remembering. I will be going back soon it's been about five years or more. Hopefully these 2 wonderful dentist are still there.“
