Awesome barbershop. Just the kind of place you want to sit around and shoot the breeze. Was kinda disappointed having to leave after my haircut! Best haircut and shave I’ve had in a while. I may be here from out of town, but I’ll stop by again anytime I pass through.

Smiley's is a barbershop for black people (generally) and located in a trailor under the I-49 bridge downtown Alexandria off 3rd Street. The shop is owned by Smiley and his four barbers. Although the shop is in a small trailor, the inside is very clean and professional. The 5 barbers are all great at cutting hair. The customers that come here are respectful and include all ages of men (mostly adult men between 20 and 60). Simley will usually cuts hair for the older men, while the other 4 barbers cut hair for the younger men. The price for the average haircut is $12.00 (plus a tip if you like your haircut of course).
