My back was about to go out, they fixed me in a 40 minute massage! Couldn't ask for more as I wasn't not looking for a spa experience, but, therapy.
Having said that, if you want the atmosphere of a spa, there are plenty of other options that will better suit your needs, but be prepared to spend 2x.
They were open on Christmas Eve afternoon so my wife an I went and got 40 minute body massages. Fully clothed in an open area. Good pressure and technique. Will likely do again when we are back in town. It was $40 for 40 minute so$50 with tip per person.
I’m a little baffled by the bad reviews. When it’s too intense, I tell them. Don’t just sit there in pain and then complain later. I prefer the foot massages…and some are better than others…but I’ve never not enjoyed it. As for the tip, I’ve tipped $5 and I’ve tipped $20 (honestly it depends on what cash I have on hand more than the quality of service) and never once have they said anything but thank you. One day I completely forgot the tip and they said no problem, see you next time. So I’m seriously questioning the validity of the tip complaints. Then again, most are from years ago and I’ve only been going for the last two years.
