“We switched to Dr. Ledet's office after we had a few not so great experiences with our previous vet of 6 years. Dr. Ledet is SO thorough & knowledgeable. She not only tells you what your pet may need, but goes in depth as to why, & I think that is very important in a healthcare provider of any kind. She explains every little thing no matter how long it takes and answers all of my questions! We bring both of our girls here (golden retriever & black lab), and our lab just got her teeth cleaned & had x-rays while she was under anesthesia which I LOVE that they offer x-rays not only of their teeth, but a thoracic x-ray to check for abnormalities! We are all about taking preventative measures to keep our girls happy & healthy! And SHE called me personally during Mei's teeth cleaning & after to tell me how it was going/how it went/review her findings/etc. Her office may be touch more expensive than our last, but it is 100% true when they say "you get what you pay for!" She & her staff are WORTH IT!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. If I could give six stars I absolutely would! We have a 3 year old lab who has severe allergies, and it has been a struggle everyday. At other vet clinics, we have felt dismissed and like our questions were never fully answered. After meeting with Dr. Doyle and the lovely vet technician today, I can say I have never felt more heard. She took her time and made sure to answer all of our questions, and give great recommendations for what our next steps should be moving forward. She was also very transparent about pricing and explained everything she recommended and the reasoning behind it thoroughly. We will definitely be using Vet Naturally as our primary vet moving forward.“

“In my pup’s almost 13 years, finding a good veterinarian has been a series of trial and error. Following an extreme allergy diagnosis in late 2021, her anxiety every time we had to visit, multiple disappointing treatment plans with our 3 previous doctors, we knew we needed a change.
Then came Monroe Street Animal Hospital. I don’t have the words for how much Dr. Paige and the entire team has turned my girls life around. She went from terrified to EXCITED for her weekly visit/bath with Monroe Street. Every person we’ve encountered there is amazing and seems to care about what they do. Sam is absolutely phenomenal, always so helpful and helps us keep everything straight when we visit. I could not recommend Monroe Street Animal Hospital more.“

“I’m not one to bash or post negative comments so I won’t. With that being said, after moving to the northshore, I couldn’t seem to find a vet that I trusted with my precious fur babies. Last Friday, Franklin was in heavy breathing distress. I rushed him into the vet that I WAS using. Before doing even one test, she told me he probably had a tumor on his liver. She then began tests and gave him medications, all totalling $515 (there was no tumor). I left with a terrible feeling that I was being taken advantage of. I prayed and prayed for God’s discernment. I was led to another vet, and from the moment we met this morning, I knew he was in the right hands. Her name is Dr. Katie at The Maher Animal Hospital in Covington. Her ability to explain in-depth and in layman’s terms all the tests and bloodwork further confirmed that I was in the right place. I would highly recommend her and this place to all pet owners. Franklin is on the right track. And Princess will be meeting Dr. Katie soon for her checkup!!!“

“They accommodated my high anxiety dog aggressive pup so seamlessly- even a separate entrance directly into the operatory. Staff was friendly and super efficient in treatment and providing estimates on services. Definitely recommend for routine preventative visits.“

“I can’t say good enough things about southpaws! After a three week downhill battle with our dog at two other clinics, my five year-old active girl stopped walking and was miserable. Out of desperation, another clinic referred me to South paws. I called them and they were so sweet on the phone and told us to come on in. we had an hour and 15 minute drive from our house and got there at 4:45 when they closed at 5 PM. Dr. Newton and her team stayed late (like 7:30/8PM!) to evaluate her, give her fluids, and run blood work. The Night Shift nurse was incredible and honestly, the whole staff was just phenomenal. They treat you like part of the family.
While she had two overnight stays, we received numerous calls from dr Newton and the team updating us and going over care plan and just brainstorming. Since being home, we have also received many calls checking in on how Willow has been doing.
Dr. Newton also kept our vet in Baton Rouge informed and talked to him the night that we brought Willow in to go over everything that we had been dealing with for three weeks. I can’t thank y’all enough. We are forever grateful.“
