Southpaws did exploratory facial surgery on my basset hound YoYo when we could not find out was causing her facial swelling. I was distraught with how big her face had gotten but Dr. Newton reassured me we would get it under control. They went in cleaned up the tissue on the inside, started her on antibiotics, and sent tissue samples off. Yo-yo has been perfect since the surgery and has made a full recovery! I highly reccomend Southpaws for your surgical needs with your animals!
My jack Russell had to have surgery for a torn ligament. She saw Dr. Newton the orthopedic surgeon and I knew immediately she was in good hands. She was very knowledgeable and caring in this trying time. My other dog also saw Dr. Melissa for her oral care. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and was very up front and honest about what I could expect of her services. A wonderful experience overall with both veterinarians at this practice. The staff also went above and beyond to make sure me and my fur babies were comfortable. 10/10 would recommend
