I went to Blush Lounge on 5043 Shelbyville Road. I wanted to try them as they had just had a grand opening about a month ago and got some good reviews. First I will start with the only good. Receptionist who greets you is very polite and salon is clean and looks great. That is the last good thing I have to say. Owner is rude. I was looking at nail colors to match them to the ones I saw on the nail boards to figure out what I liked. She rudely came up to me and repeated twice nail colors are on the boards. As instructed I was not touching nail colors on the wall because it said not to because nail tech will get them but you would have thought from her response I was pulling them all down and trying them on. I got a deluxe manicure with gel polish on Friday 10/4. Now they could not tell me what a deluxe manicure entailed so have no clue what I was supposed to get. I know Reception said hot towels at end when asked differences. Did not get that. The worse was on Sunday I had 3 nails with air bubbles and one that had already chipped. Never had this happen with gel. I went back in on Sunday to ask what remedy could be done. Owner never interacted with me matter of fact ignored me, only talked to receptionist, and went back to her client like I did not exist. Nail tech she got to fix my nails was just as rude as the owner. It was obvious she did not want to be bothered, never interacted or made any eye contact. Thanked her twice no response. I will never be back. If this is how they want to run a business that just opened in September good luck keeping clients. Treated poorly and they really need to take a business seminar on customer service.
