Baptist Health Surgery Center Eastpoint has a wonderful team of people, including the receptionist, intake for insurance, every single nurse, and doctor. The energy these women bring to work is simply amazing, and the work performed by the doctors is wonderful too. One patient has been using the center since age 13. The staff is always welcoming, and patients are often in the room within 5 minutes of a scheduled appointment time. For primary care, the staff and doctors are all great, making it a great place to go.
Dr. Smith was phenomenal. I showed up concerned about cardio results that had been separately ordered. He combined my description of my symptoms, with urology labs that he ordered, plus the cardio results, and concluded that maybe what I am experiencing is broader than urology. After the appt, he contacted my PCP and a specialist, and was able to get an already-scheduled appointment moved up a full month.
His in-office manner was knowledgeable and reassuring.
I am very thankful for that appointment in particular, and Dr. Smith more broadly.

This is a review of Dr. Christopher Smith, Urologist. He is by far my favorite specialty doc. He is always slammed with back to back Appts. But as a patient he never makes me feel rushed. He takes a relaxed lean or seat when we talk he goes through everything, gives me his entire attention when he is in the room. Given the state of our medical system it is much appreciated.
Dr. Chris Smith is everything you want/ need in a medical practitioner. He explains everything. He does what is best for his patients. He answers questions and responds to your concerns.
