I wanted to give a non biased review. So I waited. First the location is in a good spot. The inside of the shop is not welcoming at all. The pics on Google must be old. I stood by the front counter for a few mins waiting to be approached. I was rudely approached and was told to “Go sit”. I sat on the couch and felt like I was falling to the floor. The put together furniture was in bad shape. My bad knees hated me when it was time to get up. I explained the style I wanted and showed the picture which was feed in middle part braids. I want to get my hair braided for vacation, But I don’t want to be talked badly about by the gossiping staff. Finding professional braiders in Louisville is EXTREMELY hard to the point were im taking classes to learn myself.
Let me start off with saying my hair is absolutely beautiful! The braids look greatand I was serviced immediately. However, the experience was meh…. There were 4 ladies braiding my hair so I was in and out in about 4.5 hours. The braiders braid EXTREMELY tight! My scalp was on fire for days and I couldn’t put my hair up, pull it back or anything. Secondly, my parts are pick a parts and not square like the picture I showed them (no big deal). Third, my first big issue is how extremely loud they talk while they are doing your hair and the lack of communication with the customer.
