Be prepared to pay full dental office prices upfront before you have the procedures done if you don't have insurance. They do not offer payments options like the regular emergency room. I brought my father there who had 9 abscessed teeth and had no insurance. Three needed to be surgically removed. The price we would have had to pay to have it done there would have been $500 more than what my personal dentist charged us after he waved the X-ray and examination fee and didn't charge us extra for the surgical removals. Plus he had it all done within an hour.

I had a dental emergency. It was a mess getting signed up and getting there early enough to get a spot. All that said the staff was professional and polite. I wish I got the name of the student dentist I seen he was awesome. The only issue I had is the pricing. I was told at the dentist chair my tooth removal was going to be $70 or so. I walked to go pay not even 30 seconds later just around the corner and it turned into $170 for the extraction. She explained that I'm paying for a surgical extraction and if it ends up being simple I would get a refund for the extra $100. I never did hear anything back. Very kind staff, including the dental students and faculty. Amazing people all around and I recommend anyone go if they have urgent dental needs. Got me out of pain and helped save my tooth. Thank you UK Dentistry!
