Had a kids cut scheduled for my son on 3pm and I when I arrived and checked in my barber was not at the shop. Entire shop is empty just 1 guy there on his phone. I waited until til 3:30 when the only barber there notified her. I went ahead and left, she called and told me that she was 25 mins away and gave me some excuse about informing someone else to do cut. Asked me did I want to reschedule for the following day or cancel. While appreciated, for a business that thrives on customer service and satisfaction it was wholly unprofessional and sloppy. Would not recommend anymore.

Chad was able to squeeze me in last minute. I have never had him cut my hair before so I was a little nervous to go to someone new. I shouldn't have been nervous at all. He did an incredible job with my fade, and had we had a great conversation. He seems like a really hardworking guy who is passionate about his craft. Definitely recommend him for professional barber services. I'm happy I took a chance, because I will definitely be returning to him specifically for my cuts. Thanks again Chad!

While I’m not usually one to complain about a service.. I think there should be some awareness brought to the type of service we received.
I booked an appointment for fantasy color and designs to be put in my son’s hair. In the middle of the service, I guess the barber who was supposed to do the designs had to leave. I get it; things come up, so the stylist who done the color took on the design, and in the midst of doing it my son was grimacing, and squinting his eyes. He’s never had any type of design, so i figured it was just a new sensation that he wasn’t used to. Upon leaving the shop and getting out in to the light, I noticed how red and irritated his skin was. Not only was he irritated.. He was cut in multiple places. He stayed perfectly still the whole time. It just felt rushed and i feel horrible that he was put through something that he has been asking for, for so long. This was our first and last time visiting this shop. I’m deeply disappointed considering how much i paid for the service and what we received in return.

Went in with a janitor’s mop. Came out with a gentleman’s chop. All thanks to smiley smith really did a great job on my hair would definitely recommend!! He’s my official barber!

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience with Erin. I trusted her professional judgment to use permanent dye on my hair, but the result was damaging and left me extremely unhappy. Because I am detail-oriented, I could immediately tell the color was off—it flattened my overall look, and she dyed my baby hairs much darker than expected. During the service, she even left the dye on while she went outside to smoke, which was unprofessional and careless.
Afterward, I reached out politely by text several times asking for help. In those texts, she claimed the dye information was “in her computer,” but she had never actually documented which dyes she used on my hair at each appointment. Even during my Demi appointments, she used a different dye every time with no consistency or explanation. Two weeks later, when I finally called her directly, she told me to wash my hair with Dawn dish soap and then hung up on me. She never offered corrective service or accountability.
On top of this, I was treated differently because Amir is a distant relative I barely know. When I called, the front desk asked, “Are you Amir’s cousin?” From that point, I was not treated like a regular paying client—even though I never received a family discount and always paid in full. I even tipped generously: 65% on my last three Demi visits and 45% on the permanent dye appointment.
This experience was negligent, dismissive, and unprofessional. I strongly caution anyone considering booking here.
