Ivy is just the best!! Her stretching classes are amazing and perfect for me after recovering from an injury and workouts/volleyball. Excited to try some of her other class formats in 2026!

🔥 Ivy League Strength in Lexington, KY is Lexington’s hottest hot yoga. This place has everything, but it is not your average yoga studio—it’s a full-on sensory experience with attitude. If you’re looking for glittery zen and unicorn vibes, this is not the place. But if you want sweat, sass, and serious results, buckle up.
🧘♂️ What to Expect
• Hot Yoga with a Twist: Think intense stretching meets boot camp. Classes like Buff Boot Camp and Fast Funky Flow combine heat, weights, and movement for a full-body burn.
• Recovery & Rehab: Foam rollers, compression boots, red light therapy, Thai massage, and assisted stretching help you bounce back stronger.
• Personal Training: Tailored sessions that push your limits while keeping it real. Ivy, the instructor, is known for her tough love and intuitive approach.
🎶 Vibe Check
• Music ranges from gangsta rap to classical, with a sprinkle of “angry boy” anthems. Every class has its own flavor, and yes—F bombs are part of the ambiance.
• No glitter. No unicorns. Just sandbags, sweat, and maybe a little bondage-inspired resistance training (interpret that how you will).
💬 What People Say
• “Not your typical calm yoga space… it’s the best yoga in town, hands down.”
• “Ivy creates a fun and motivating environment with a focus on individual needs.”
• “You’ll detox your mind and body—and maybe your attitude too.”2
If you’re craving a workout that’s equal parts intense, irreverent, and transformative, Ivy League Strength might just be your new obsession. Want help picking a class or prepping for your first visit? I’ve got you.

Ivy League Strength isn't your mom's hot yoga. If you are looking for your inner self while practicing calm yoga, this studio isn't for you. If you want a phenomenal workout led by an amazing woman, then this is your place.

I was begrudgingly drug to Ivy's hot yoga 3 years ago. Having a CrossFit and lifting background for 15 years, I conveniently neglected all flexibility/mobility for years. Well, all my weaknesses were quickly exposed. And Ivy was sure to point this out to me in her 'tough-love' style. The constructive criticism resonated and I decided to make mobility a priority. After 3 years of hot yoga and private sessions with Ivy, I feel the best I have in 20 years. I'm a skier and a golfer - the mobility improvements have made me significantly better at both. And more importantly, I can touch my toes and just move better in daily life. This progress has come with a lot of pain and suffering, but it's been worth it. Ivy has been invested in my improvement, which has made all the difference. In her words, I went from a mangy dog on the side of the road to now an average functioning human. Haha Lastly, there's no better way to cap off a stressful day than sweating out all your problems at 115 degrees, contemplating if you'll actually die in the process. 10/10 recommend.

I love Ivy! I'm a very sporadic yogi but whenever I come she always makes me feel like I'm at home with the rest of her usuals.
