We love everything about Dogtopia. The staff is all very friendly and clearly loves the dogs. The app is super convenient for scheduling and watching the webcams. The special photo event days are worth every penny. We are so happy to have a safe and fun place for our babies to stay while we travel!

We took our Shih Tzu to Dogtopia for a one day visit. When my husband made the arrangements we was not told they had to pass a test in order to stay. We live in S Carolina and had planned our trip to Kentucky for the race at Keeneland and made the arrangements for our dog for the day. We was to meet for or meet and greet, filled out all the paperwork answered all the questions and was told the employee would take our dog back to see how she did with other dogs and he would be back in about 10 min. We was told the room with small dogs was closed but was NOT told she would be put in a room with 30-40 dogs at once all different breeds and sizes. I’m sure that terrified her, she gets along with other dogs but not a room full of dogs and I assume came at her to check her out. When she is scared or fearful she can get aggressive as her defense. The employee brought her out said she nipped him of course she did because you put her in a room with a bunch of dogs, just because she’s a dog too doesn’t mean she’s not going to be afraid. We was NEVER told she had to pass a test to see how she would adapt to a bunch of dogs at one time. Needless to say our trip was wasted because we wasn’t able to attend the race. I have never encountered a day care as such. And we’ve had her in a day care before with dogs her size and she did fine. They could have just crated her by herself and she would have been fine.

My dog LOVES to go to Dogtopia - somehow she knows we are going even before we leave the house and she gets SO excited! They always take good care of my dog, and I appreciate how flexible they are with scheduling drop offs and pick ups. The spa services are great - she always comes out looking good and smelling great!

The staff there are always so kind and excited to see my pup. They greet us and typically know who I am dropping off. I love that I can watch the cameras but I also know that my pup is going to be treated so well while there to play with other dogs. Love Dogtopia!
