Watson is a 185 lb Saint Bernard, and he adores Hannah. His grooming is impeccable. He has been going to this Groomer since he was 3 months of age. He is currently 3 yrs.

Alecia is a delight. I have been taking my fur baby to her for years and we just can't speak highly enough about Alecia and her service. She loves all the fur babies and treats them all lovingly. She is wonderful at her profession. You just can't go wrong using The Shaggy Dog.

I've been taking my 5 Yorkies and Samoyed here for grooming. I'm as protective over my fur babies as I am my 5 kids lol! They do an awesome job on my little one's, we had a small hiccup once with 2 of them and the groomer was so compassionate and caring, she even called to check on them that evening and the next day! My Samoyed is sort of a rare breed to find experienced groomers for, my goodness Cathy there even has experience with Sammys! Getting all 6 of my dogs bathed and groomed is more than affordable! My dogs have been here a few times and each time I've walked in, I'm greeted professionally and respectively. I'm sensitive to energy so when I walk into any business, I can immediately feel it. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, tidy, and laid back. They are all easy to talk with, with Inviting personalities. I can feel how important a stress free environment is to them for their customers. Upon my first visit, I shared a lot of concern for the well being of my animals (My chow is young and I am doing everything to try and ensure she is handled respectfully and sensitively so she doesn't become aggressive) and they made sure to ease that by keeping me updated with info and photos during their stay. They are good listeners, even when you're long winded. They take necessary steps to help ease your animals anxiety, make them feel comfortable and less stressed. Confidence is so important when grooming so many different breeds of animals of all ages. Something they don't lack. My animals sense this and have learned quickly who they prefer. Shaggy Dog took notice to each animals behavior when being handled, honing in on who they feel the most comfortable with, and noting that in their records for next time. I can't help but also notice the relationship between the workers. I can sense the comfort, trust, and ease. They didn't hesitate to let me walk through the salon when I wanted to. I got to enjoy seeing other animals being groomed because doors were open! I was reassured to know my animals get checked on by the manager on and off through their entire visit. I'm confident that even though the trust is high amongst each other, the manager still pays close attention to how each animals is handled and treated and walks through often to ensure that. My dogs smelled and felt amazing after their baths. And wks later, still felt very clean and soft. After trying a few other groomers before Shaggy Dogs, this one keeps inviting me back because of mine and my animals overall experience. Thank you for helping to build my confidence, trust, and continuing to ensure that, each and every time.
