“Dr. Stidham was on call at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center when I was in the emergency room with tachycardia. He approved the administration of adenosine, which lowered my very high heart rate.My cardiologist Dr. Sihau later recommended that I see Dr. Stidham to consider a cardiac ablation, which I had at Jewish Hospital in Louisville on February 2, 2026.I have since seen Dr. Stidham twice as follow ups to that procedure, which has proved successful. Dr. Stidham has been firm about my risk factors for stroke or heart attack due to high familial cholesterol and clear about the need for me to be on medication.Despite the seriousness of possible negative outcomes, he encouraged me to travel and enjoy life. I am doing well so I will not see him regularly, but I won’t hesitate to see him again should the need arise.”
