Assisting Hands Home Care

I have been using Assisting Hands for the past 6 months to assist my wife while I’m working. All the caregivers have been great. I wanted to mention Katie S. As she was my wife’s caregiver over the summer. My wife loved having her as her caregiver. Katie always was so nice to my wife. Had many conversations to keep my wife going socially. Always made sure they went for walks as my wife enjoys walking but can’t go by herself anymore. Katie always had my wife assist in folding clothes and dishes. Made sure my wife got a good shower. And was just so engaging with her. Always made my wife feel good.

My husband was cared for by Lilly who treated my husband with gentle care and compassion. She was very knowledgeable regarding Alzheimers. She helped with feeding, toileting him, showering, clothing him, etc. I was not afraid to leave my husband in her care. She is a very trustworthy, caring person. She helped with folding his clothes, towels, etc. We considered her family! What a terrific person and caregiver!

The staff at Assisting Hands is so knowledgeable, kind and attentive. They go above and beyond for the clients and families they serve. Gerald is very involved in the community and makes people feel right at home.
