“I've found during the worst times in life sometimes the smallest act of kindness goes a long. I can remember a time the funeral home had an extremely busy week and were short staffed on this day and I could tell things were a chaotic. This was not a service for my immediate family but a close friend. I remember thinking just how hard this is going to be when it's my family. About that time J. D had pulled me aside and sat down and started to ask how I was doing. Was interested in knowing how long I've known my friend and was truly concerned. I've known J. D from when I was extremely young. I wasn't close to him as we were probably 10 years apart but always spoke when we saw each other. I just remember that day kind of laughing to myself seeing him with sweat on his forehead and probably overwhelmed himself to make sure this day was as comfortable as can be for the grieving. As I am terrified in these situations I asked him how he does it. I remember him saying that every person should receive the highest amount of respect after they pass and this is the first time they are separated from their family. Each family deserves to find some peace and comfort knowing their loved one will be cared for in a way that hopefully exceeds their expectations. He said but you are right it's not something most people want to to do for a living but I guess Ive seen what a difference it can make during these times and that's why I do it. From that day I remember thinking I wouldn't want my family in anyone else's care besides
J. D's. This was close to 10 years ago but his dedication will always stick with me and gave me and make that day a little easier. I can only imagine the kindness he's shown for family members who are struggling to the point of keeping their composure. I'd say there's been a number of people who didn't think they were going to get through the day without this mans help. Highly recommend!!“

“Unfortunately, my mother passed away April 18th. When I say Fares, his wife and all his staff, specifically Kelsey, made this process smooth and truly mended a small piece of my heart, is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
My mother and I hadn’t had the chance to finalize her will and set beneficiary before her passing. This made paying the cost a royal PAIN.
Never once did I feel rushed, just “another number”. Fares and Kelsey were more than patient with me and the probate court system. They made me feel a sense of security in a very uncertain, painful time in my life. I am forever grateful for them and all they have done for me, they made it to where I can finally take my mother home to her final resting place and for that, I’m eternally thankful and grateful.
