I had a great experience with the birth care center! My nurses Paige, Ali, and Alison were fantastic, Dr. Perry did an amazing job with my epidural and Dr. Montgomery is the sweetest OB. I felt heard, safe, and respected through the whole experience. My whole team was very knowledgeable, all of my requests were met and all of my questions were answered. Only complaint is my baby’s 24hr labs were mislabeled and had to be redrawn at our pediatricians office, otherwise 10/10
My son was and is( waiting on transport) while in icu his care was excellent. He was transferred to another room. Here is where issues began. They never changed his o2 from the tank used to transfer so his o2 stopped. He is dependent on oxygen. The response of staff was they forgot to hook up. He is on Lasix therefore they are using purwick ( amazing products). The device was not emptied. It was so full that when it was emptied the tank filled halfway up again from urine in line. I have always praised the care Wesley provided on his hospitalized before. I am hoping this was not normal care but rather the floor was busy.
For such a huge facility, employees were always ready to point you in the right direction with a smile on their face. Staff from EMTs, emergency room staff, and floor staff did all they could to make our stay pleasant under the circumstances.
