Working with Dr. Hollenbeck himself was acceptable; however, my experience with the office as a whole was a disaster. My special needs child underwent what was described as a “non-invasive” procedure to correct a growth issue. Following the procedure, she experienced severe and prolonged pain, crying ...even screaming at times, for weeks afterward.
I contacted the office multiple times to report her symptoms. Each time, I was told this was normal. She was prescribed additional narcotic medication multiple times and was referred to physical therapy without being examined or having her condition further evaluated.
Due to the severity of her pain, she was unable to return to school for the rest of the year, could not bear weight on her legs, and required the use of adult diapers because we could not move her to get her to the bathroom. All of this was communicated to the office and consistently dismissed with very little empathy.
At two months post-operation, I again reported that she still could not bear weight. I was told there were still no concerns! After three months of repeated calls, she was finally seen in person. An X-ray revealed a serious injury in the same area as the surgery.
Had our concerns been addressed earlier, this issue could have been identified and treated much sooner, preventing prolonged suffering, and basically torture. After all was said and done, including another surgery, I requested her medical records. Notably, documentation reflecting what would show the lack of follow-through in her care appears to be missing.

The doctors and nurses are great but the front desk staff is awful. They are wildly rude, not interested in helping patients and are extremely disrespectful. After being treated as if my check-in was a burden, I waited over 40 mins, and when I tried to check out I was told to stand behind the rope and wait but there was no one in line and all the staff were playing on their devices. All I needed to do was schedule an appointment in a month…not asking them to solve long division. I’ll never go back because of the awful treatment by the front desk staff. Unfortunately I recommend finding a different medical care facility. The doctors are highly recommended but it’s not worth going bc of the front desk staff. It’s bad enough needing medical care but to be treated like an imposition is disgusting and they should be ashamed.

Most everyone in this facility was very nice and helpful. However, after seeing the doctor, I walked out with no written information about my condition or upcoming surgery. No way to get answers to my questions. A big negative for me was not being able to contact anyone, except by text. Then someone contacted me the next day. It was over 24 hrs before I was contacted.

Three years ago a Dr. at this place diagnosed my hand issue as tendonitis. I told him there was no pain like tendonitis has. He wouldn't listen. Now they want paid for faxing records to new Dr and they want 15 days to do it!!!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

Very rude customer service. Our daughter was being referred here. I have pulled our referral, and requested her primary doctor to send us somewhere else.

You would think with a different doctor but this time with a back problem they would help and do a referral so I can get a steroid shot nope still the to same people that accuse you of being demanding when you are not. All they had to do is do the referral all they did was made excuses well we don't have your CT scan yes you do I saw you have them. Well you have to do your part to to help yourself I have I told what you needed to do and that the way to get the CT scan or more information is to get from the other place how hard is that. I guess very hard by now if I worked there I would have already helped myself and got the referral and got my shot not make excuses like you all have. You don't care you neve have. Now I will suffer now cause I told what they needed to do and that I can't get my CT scan they have to get it from the other place let's tell the the doctor on me and show him the message go ahead so it to him shows none you care.

My 12 year old broke his arm and doctor and his assistant did a great job! I cannot say the same for his nurse who took my sons cast off. She started cutting the cast and my son asked if it’s suppose to hurt, she did not answer! I told my son that it could possibly be the pressure, but as she continued to cut the cast my son told her to stop that it was hurting and she did not stop! I told her “he said it’s hurting!!” She again did not care and continued. She started to cut the other side of the cast and again he said it hurt she didn’t stop! When she took it off she said” oh so this is why it hurt”. She had cut my son on both sides of his arm!! I said “he told you it was hurting and you didn’t stop” she proceeded to tell me “ well if he hadn’t messed with the goss it would’ve happened” regardless if my son messed with the goss she should’ve stopped when he complained! My son is a tough kid, he let the doctor align his broken arm straight again without any pain med without a complain!! The doctors staff is terrible! The front desk has 2 ladies who are decent, the rest are rude to patients! They need better office management and the nurses need to have more empathy! All the nurse that cut my son needed was to apologize and hold her self accountable for what she did instead of finding someone else yo blame! My son now has scars from this! It was removed 5 weeks ago!

I appreciate the doctors here, I like what you do. But look, you've got a serious problem. Your wait times are downright RIDICULOUS. 15-30 minute wait times are ok, but anything more than 30 minutes is unacceptable. It's nice that you have a big, huge building, and you've got a lobby that can fit 250 people. But that's no good when you can't handle them all! You've got all these appointments, but you can't keep them! And here, I look at your reviews, and you've got so many people complaining about the same thing! And you're only response is that you're working on it. Well, no, you're not working on it. These reviews are over a year old, AND YOU'RE STILL DOING IT!! You can't schedule someone for 9:15 and finally call them back at 10:30! Not cool! People have things to do, man!

The appointment was for my 10 year old blind, autistic daughter, who, by the way, did a fantastic job of not freaking out! And we would've had to wait longer if I hadn't gone up and said something! Then you got these poor receptionists who have to deal with unhappy clients that are complaining about wait times, running interference by telling people the same thing they're told to tell everybody (short staffed and ultra busy) while you continue to schedule a hundred people at the same time. You've got this small area for kids to play with one thing. What good is that gonna do with 20 kids there with their parents? Then you got these signs that say don't let your children climb on the chairs. Well what the hell else are they gonna do? Adults can wait that long (even though they shouldn't have to) but kids can't. THEY CAN'T!

And what happens when I miss my appointment by more than 15 minutes (even though I won't, because I don't like being late)? I'd probably have to reschedule for another day for next month! But you, you guys have people waiting for HOURS! Way more than 15 minutes late! But that's ok, right? You guys better get it together. Either get fully staffed or quit scheduling so many people at once. Or downsize! And don't reply that you're working on it. GET IT DONE.
