Received bed bugs from a worker and the company didn't even care. Had to throw away a lot of stuff! There was no compensation and they just wanted to pass me off to another company.

I have never been treated so compassionate and felt important the hospice nurse came out just so I could get some sleep ๐ด and she was so insightful and made me feel secure and relaxed to have chosen them for end of life care beautiful people and beautiful experience โค๏ธ these people go above and beyond they need a raise and at least one mental health day a month these people are now my family and I can honestly say I love each and every one of them โค๏ธ

Abusive front desk person. Dishonest assessors. Completely abandoned me when I needed significant care and my life is at significant risk. Stead clear at all costs:

I have worked for HHHOK for 4 years and have met some extraordinary individuals. Great staff, patients, and family. The nurses work really hard at providing the best care for our patients.

Wish there was a zero star rating. DO NOT use this company. Use Phoenix Home care or any other company. My mother had major back surgery at 70 years old. Nurse came out, told both me and my mother that she had no use for an RN, and was almost trying to talk us out of Home Health all together. My mom is and was in very bad shape, so that was not exactly what she should have been saying to me. Then was told they don't provide showers even though Medicare does cover that from an aid. Was lied to when the DON told me that's considered private pay duty....not true!!! They just didn't want to take the time to hire an aid and get reimbursed by Medicare, so they lied to me. (and got snotty about it as well)I know all the ins and outs of these details because I have been left to deal with all of these things alone for the last 4 years, with zero help. What is comes down to is that nobody wants to do their job that they are getting paid to do. They want to put as much as possible off on the family. Well, I have a job too, The only time this company wanted to step up and help is when the ER called them and when they found out I was sick and not able to take care of my mom. They even lied to the hospital saying my mom's care had not started when she was realeased on a Wed from rehab and a nurse showed up on Thursday after I had to fight to get that done. They acted like they had not received the order from Via Christi Village and that ws not true either. Via Christi Village showed me they sent them the order and everything they needed 2 DAYS prior to my mom's discharge. I don't like all the lies they tell to get out of doing there jobs. They make more money than me, and want me to do everything, which after 4 years has made me very sick. They were trying to put everything off on me and they are getting paid to do their jobs! What a joke of a place. If they would have taken my mom's condition seriously before I had to have a mental breakdown, and offered to help the numerous times my mom called them all hours of the night as well as my calls, then I wouldn't have to post this review. I was peeling Lidocaine bandages off my moms very large incision on her back and blood was coming out since it was peeling off the scab, this is an 8 inch long cut. Called them and they didn't even offer to come help me with that. I was playing Dr, , Nurse, social woker, ambulance driver, and working my own job. Insurance needs to stop paying for home health if that's all you get, NOTHING. Again, they showed up and took things seriously when the ER got them involved and told them I needed some help. Besides PT and OT, this company is a joke!!!!!!!!!

Phoenix took amazing care of my Father in Law during his end of life journey. Jason helped start the transition into hospice and getting everything set up and he made it such a smooth transition. The nurse taking care of my Father in Law was so compassionate and took amazing care of him and our family. Phoenix Home Health and Hospice not only delivered the best care during the transition, but well after end of life. Thank you for all you do and all the compassion your company delivers!

Thank you for the 2 angels you sent to us to look after our mother, Rogene. Angela(aide) and Chelsea (nurse) showed so much love and care in the short time we had them. They quickly figured out how to 'handle' her and although she may not have shown it, in her own way she loved them! We will forever be grateful that they were a part of this journey. They even fit right in on our family sarcasm/humor! Thank you Angela and Chelsea!
