During the installation of a heating unit at my mother's home, one of Carrs' employees put a foot through her ceiling, causing damage. What should have been a simple repair turned into months of delays, excuses, and poor customer service. All my mother asked was for the ceiling to be restored to the condition it was in before the damage occurred. Instead, she was given the runaround and treated as though she was being unreasonable for expecting Carrs to fix what they damaged.
The most shocking part of this experience was when Carrs STOLE my mother's air conditioning unit from her property behind a privacy fence. Carrs did not install the unit and had no ownership to it. The unit was taken from her property, the incident was captured on video, and law enforcement was contacted. After being confronted, Carrs admitted to removing the unit and returned three days later to reinstall it. Regardless of the dispute over payment, no company has the right to take property that does not belong to them. You would have been paid as soon as the job was complete. How do you send people to repair a ceiling without a ladder?!? Not to mention putting your employees in legal trouble by having them commit felony theft.
Jackie in customer service was consistently unprofessional throughout the process. Instead of helping resolve the issues, communication was dismissive, unhelpful, and contributed to an already frustrating situation. Customer service should de-escalate problems, not make them worse.
In the end, Carrs returned and reinstalled the air conditioning unit, and payment was made after a discount was provided by the company. However, the entire ordeal involved months of stress, unnecessary games, poor communication, property damage, and the unauthorized removal of my mother's air conditioning unit. To make matters worse, the ceiling that was damaged by Carrs still has not been properly repaired.
If a company damages your property, you should not have to spend months fighting to have it corrected. Based on our experience, I would not trust Carrs with my home and cannot recommend them to anyone.

4/19/26 at 11am. Driving from Kingman to Wichita. Doing 74 in a 70mph zone. A Carr's truck flew by at what i estimate to be over 90mph. No signals. Weaving in and out of very light traffic. White crew cab F150.

Had a water leak under the floor that caused water to come through the tiles. They came out very quickly and once they located the leak, they came up with a plan to fix it and came back the next day and had a new line going in 30 minutes! Will definitely be calling them again for any future issues!

Have had this company come out to our house once a year for the last 5 or 6 years due to our sewer line having a dip and growing Roots every year into the line. They are always best on their pricing can give you a quote right over the phone can tell you how long they can snake and also are usually available the day you call. Everyone is professional that comes everyone does their job good and never have had a problem I highly recommend this company!

Owner, Chris, is quite rude. Especially when dealing with perspective clients. I ask questions because I'm not a maintenance person. He needs a course on proper behavior and he needs to learn to be more respectful to women.

Sewer line replacement. Orangeburg Pipe 73 years old. I got quotes from 8 different plumbing concerns, although 3 declined (we don't do that type of involved work). The others quoted $18-32,000, and said it would take 3-4 days - and some of them charged a fee just to produce an estimate. 'Mike' quoted under $11,000, and essentially had it done in one day. It took a couple hours the next day doing cleanup, but, they were hampered by a thunderstorm.
One of the more expensive firms required us to move a garden shed & breakup the concrete foundation. Then, 3 sections of a neighbors fence would need to be removed for access to get the backhoe into the backyard. 'Brandon', Carr's backhoe operator, was highly accomodating. He created an inventive method to get the backhoe thru without bothering the neighbors fence. Then, moved the shed aside, and used the backhoe to move the concrete out of the way in one piece. When completed, he moved the concrete back, and then set the shed back in place. Other companies would have me taking 3 days off work to facility their needs, and hire 2-3 extra guys besides. Carr brought their own helper crew and took care of business, and then went the extra mile to make it all go right... and for the best price.
***** Five Stars.

My family has been business with Carrs For quite some time They have always been very professional and and always willing to work with us. Despite some of our differences in the past, we always given another chance and that we did and we are grateful. We are continuing business together and we greatly Appreciate. One of their technicians came out today just to check on our unit and make sure our business was good to go with AC running. Thank you for coming by and taking the time Just to check on us Sincerely, Connie’s Mexico Cafe , Cici Garcia
