About GreatLIFE Central
GreatLIFE Central is a fitness facility that offers a range of amenities to its members. The pool is a highlight, with water that is the perfect temperature and always clean. The gym is also well-equipped, although it is more focused on weight training than cardio. The staff is friendly, and the central location is convenient. Members report feeling healthier and more fit after working out and swimming at GreatLIFE Central. However, there are some downsides to the facility. It is not a public pool, and there is a guest fee for non-members. Additionally, the women's locker room has issues with poor air circulation and black mold, which can be a concern for some users.
Had a great experience getting signed up for a membership here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Facilities were in good shape and the environment was great. Really enjoyed the indoor pool space, with hot tub and other cool amenities.
The aquatic classes are excellent. There’s a therapy pool that’s warm before you get into the cold water which I like because it starts to warm the muscles up. The hot tub is huge and a great start to any workout.
The men's locker room has been in need of basic upkeep and renovations for a few years now. The door between the locker room and the pool is broken. Since fall 2024, the glass door to the steam sauna has been removed from its hinges, resulting in the gym closing the sauna. Many surfaces throughout the space are completely rusted through. Parts of the ceiling are collapsing and are spotted with what appears to be black mold.
The length and consistency of this negligence is disturbing.
