I consider this place the hidden gem of the KUMC system. If you are part of the KU ecosystem and live in the lenexa and surrounding areas, this place is mainly very quiet and time efficient especially if you compare to the madhouse campus up in KC. Labs, Xrays, and other adjunct procedures are easily accessible here with minimal wait times.
I came in Thursday morning and received nothing but kindness. Everything was explained thoroughly and I didn’t even feel like I was at a doctors office. Tricia and Charles were amazing and I genuinely wish I could thank them in person again for the kindness towards me in a very very vulnerable time. I also spoke with Melissa on the phone and she was also amazing.
Only reason for 4 stars is because getting my prescriptions sent in or a call back did take awhile. I was lucky to reach Melissa on the first call
Woke up with a horrible sore throat and went in at 7:15am. Check-in was easy and ShiShi was super sweet. My nurse was personable and helpful. The NP that saw me did a great job as well. They swabbed my throat 😣for strep and I was out the door by 8 AM. They called me with the results within 30 minutes, which is what they said they would do. Overall fantastic experience.
