We had our entire second floor hardwoods refinished with CG&F, and I couldn't be more satisifed. Jeremiah came in to quote, and he was respectful, on time, and professional. We felt the quote was a good price for the amount of work to be done (I had done a poor job of refinishing floors in one of the rooms already, so I understood what all went into it). And then Dennis came and did the floors in 3 days. I can't tell you how amazing they looked (and still look) after he finished! Dennis ripped out carpet from a couple of rooms, and even filled a few holes in the floor from previous radiator piping. It looks sooo good. I'd recommend these guys any day. Had the whole main floor's flooring removed and then replaced with a Herringbone style oak floor. Received estimate promptly, communication with Jeremiah was quick and easy, and the install and staining was quick and top notch. The floors look amazing! I had a great experience with CG&F flooring and highly recommend them. They are professional, EXPERTS at wood flooring, and fairly priced. We had a lot of flooring to replace and knew we did not want to return to carpets due to allergies—I looked into a lot of waterproof vinyl, hardwood, and engineered wood. I visited many local stores (pricing is always displayed) and ultimately got a quote from NFM for engineered wood. It was a very high quote and wouldn’t be able to be sanded and re-stained in the future. A friend insisted we contact Charlie at CG&F just to see what he said/quoted (I later found out many people we know have used them and been very happy)....read full review
