“We partnered with Accent in May of 2025 for a fairly significant home remodel — opening up a stairway and removing some interior walls. The entire team's approach was thoughtful and professional, with carefully planned execution at all points. The team was led by Steve, with Jason and Sean working in our home daily while we were living there for the three-month duration of the project. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, considerate, and skilled team, who politely cleaned up every day before leaving. Natalie provided valuable design guidance along the way, and we enjoyed working with her as well. As with any remodel, we encountered several unknowns along the way, and Steve and crew were quick to recognize potential structural issues and provide us with details on the additional cost involved, which we promptly paid. We did run into an issue near the end of the project with some questionable work and charges by a subcontractor, and it took many months to come to an agreement on that payment. While the challenged amount wasn’t huge by construction standards, it exceeded our expectation enough (which our research on the matter confirmed) that we questioned the amount. Unfortunately, in this regard only, the lack of timely communication was disappointing, as we had paid every invoice promptly up to this point, and the discussion went on for nearly a year after the work was completed before it was resolved. Nonetheless, we wouldn’t hesitate to hire Accent again and would trust them to do quality workmanship and a fair price.“
