“Our 34 year old home is built on a steep and wood lot with limited access to the back yard, and when it was time to replace our rotten deck, we invited 6 companies to give us bids. Our deck is about 23 off the ground! Only two companies were brave enough to even offer us a bid, and Acumen won the contract. Their price was definitely not cheap, but this was a very challenging job. We are thrilled with the outcome and expect our new deck to last longer than WE will! The guys with Acument were VERY helpful in the planning process, very professional and prompt, and they worked great with the city of Shawnee building inspector. I don't know if the photos here will give you the idea, but take a look.“

“Shane and Ian did an excellent job installing our 20 windows. We discovered some “wood rot” in several of the windows which they removed and replaced without a hitch.We also found rot which extended into the wall. They provided a temporary weather tight fix until we could get the wall repaired. They then came out to remove the window for the repair and then replaced and finished the job. Their efficiency and skill was remarkable. I can not recommend the installers enough.The windows speak for themselves. Time will tell how efficient and money saving they will be. They look good and work well. I believe they were an excellent purchase.….Within a few months of the installation,the windows pulled away from the house and leaked. They were very responsive and came out for repairs. Vinyl apparently shrinks and swells with the weather. If I were to redo the windows I think I would use fiberglass.“
