This is my first major surgery and never had a broken bone, Dr. Scott Cook is a God serving Christian and for a fact God seen me through this surgery with excellent care. He has the very best top notch staff. I wouldn't say this if it wasn't true. I'm very transparent. Wonderful staff. A+±+

Unfortunately, this is the second hip that I’ve had to go to Doctor Scott Cook for resurfacing (he did my right hip 9 years ago without any issues). So when I needed my left hip done next, there was no question about who I’d go to. There is no one whom I would rather have work on me! His knowledge is incredible. His skill is precise. And usually that means an awkward person by the bed lol. He is kind and compassionate and listens and genuinely cares. Before going into surgery, I asked if he was a man of prayer, to which he said absolutely. I asked if he would pray over me and the surgery. Selecting Dr Scott Cook to do my knee replacement surgery 10 days ago is the best decision I ever made! He was so caring, professional, knowledgeable and patient from my first appointment till my release from KCOI after my surgery! His entire Care Team including PA Ray Erickson, Asst Kathy, Nurses Jen, Allison & Maria along with the PT staff were all wonderful & caring far exceeding my expectations. My surgery was a huge success & I am recovering well and look forward to a normal life of walking pain free real soon!!! Highly recommend Dr Cook and Kansas City Orthopedic Institute!
