Got a uniform done at Hood before heading to Leavenworth for an event. The shop in Texas got the lengths of the tapes wrong, had them off-center and were not level with eachother, and my rank wasn’t even square. The shop at Hood even cut the thread connecting the shoulder seams without fixing them. This shop fixed all of these issues in under 24 hours for a very fair price for a rush job. Awesome people. Do yourself a favor and avoid the PX alterations shop. They do not know what they are doing, they don’t know military ranks or skill badges. The PX alterations placed my wife’s Expert medical field badge as her rank and saw nothing wrong with it (talked with the Loretta for 5 minutes on where it should go). Took it to the off post military alterations store and fixed it same day. PX turnaround is at least a week.
