In Lawrence ask for Tony, he's knows his stuff, the person that took my order initially was a bit confused on several levels, but I went in and spoke with Tony, who was not there when I initially made my order, he straightened everything out.
The Walmart Vision Center is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. I’ve been here before to have my glasses adjusted or tightened with no issues.
But today was disappointing. The technician wasn’t busy but didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. When I asked if she could adjust my glasses, she said she might break them (wasn’t confident)—even though other techs here have done it several times before without a problem.
I left feeling concerned about the lack of confidence and training. This is basic service they normally provide, and today’s visit was a let down.
It had been years since I ordered new contacts, and I didn't want to wait forever for an appointment. I was able to do a walk-in appointment, and they accepted my insurance. The doc that was working that day was very professional and took his time in making sure my prescription was perfect for me. I was able to order my contacts there, and my prescription works great.
