I have been with WM for around 20 years with my business. We just have a 4 yard dumpster. Things are overall smooth on the pick up and the drivers.
Where I have issue with the contracts and billing. Every time my contract expires I have to call and renegotiate my rate to keep it economical. They would charge me 2-3x as much. That is frustrating as a longtime customer.
My other frustration is with their AI cameras finding ways to charge you. This last bill I received had a $100 surcharge noted as "tire incident". I do not dispose of tires. Nor is my dumpster visible or accessible to the public. I called and they sent me a video. The... read full review

I've had a great experience with Waste Management and wanted to share why I rate them 5 stars.
Punctuality & Consistency: They have never missed a pickup day for us. You can absolutely count on them to be there on your scheduled day, every time.
Proactive Communication: I love that they send out advance notices for any schedule changes due to holidays. It's a small thing that makes a big difference in planning.
Modern Convenience: Their app and website are excellent. Paying my bill online takes seconds, and the app is great for checking the schedule or getting service alerts. It's nice to have... read full review

I just want to thank the gentleman who picks up my garbage container. I'm the only one on my street who has WM. Thank you. Wish I knew his name!! He always places the container back and makes sure the lid is closed.
I can tell when there's a substitute driver because the container is tossed toward the curb and the lid isn't closed.
