We were promptly put in a room for my son in the ER. Immediately after arriving in the ER he was met with a nurse who started asking questions as his vitals were taken. Not long after, the doctor arrived and started with his evaluation. Everyone we came in contact with was positive, nice, and reassuring for my son who does have some anxiety being in an ER setting. Thankfully, my son seemed unphased with the reason he was in the ER to begin with, but every person who came in contact with him took it seriously and sat intently to hear us out about what had occurred. The nursing staff worked fast and efficient. Dr. Bowles was very kind dand patient while explaining my symptoms and my results of lab work and x rays. Thumps up to the staff at MCH. Yall did a great job.
Dr Braden was great, listened to us and communicated with our pediatrician during our son’s care in the ER. He is medically complex and it’s difficult to get some doctors to listen to us at times. She was attentive and listened to our concerns and addressed them accordingly. Rhonda was our nurse and she also was there, helping advocate for our son and did a great job caring for him.
