“A family owned business that truly cares! After years of animals, kids and a remodel my home was in dire need of duct cleaning. The guys came out and discovered that my HVAC system was full of water so we'd have to postpone the cleaning. They got the water cleaned up helped me find the right filter to replace the wet one. I had my HVAC guy come out later that day and paid him the service fee to inform me that Vortex had already fixed the issue! Working with my schedule they came back 5 days later and completed the duct cleaning. There aren't many companies left that will go above and beyond to help their costumers. They were both professional and pleasant and tolerated my dogs being jerks. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a literal breath of fresh air.“

He explained the process to us in detail and answered every question we had. He made sure that everything was put back the way he found it, and made sure that he cleaned the areas he was working in thoroughly (we told him that he didn’t have to clean up, but he insisted which we thought was top notch). “Our mom’s home in Cassoday KS experienced near flooding by all the rain in June. A couple of months later we noticed a bad smell and mom became ill. After inspection we found the air ducts under the house had mold in them. Austin & Felix came out and determined the best course of action to clean and sanitize the vents. They did a great job and now our mom can live safely in her home again. Thank you!“

“Our hot water heater flooded our basement in the middle of the night, soaking 1/2 our basement. Our Insurance company assigned Given's to handle the restoration. The showed up when they said they would, had to move lots of stuff in the unfinished storage area, haul out carpet in that area, move a family room full of furniture, sucking up the water, tearing out the carpet pad, extracting the carpet, setting up 12 fans and 2 de-humidifiers. They have been great to work with. Given's will also handle the carpet replacement and install. We are still dealing with the Insurance Co regarding the replacement settlement & they have not been the greatest to work with, but I would highly recommend Given'sServices: Flooring“

“Overall good experience. Alex and his helper came out and explained what they were going to do. They communicated great. It was because of Alex that I give them 4 stars.

However, the lady that answers the phone is not helpful. She had an attitude when I called and I almost canceled my service with them because of it.
Also, I never received an invoice for this service. I was just told to write a check or give cash.

P.S- They do not give courtesy calls. I scheduled 2 weeks in advance and never received a follow up call, leaving me to call them and ask if they were still coming.“
