“The company we usually used to service our AC was bought out by a corporation only interested in installing new units. I knew the issue had to be dog hair inside the evaporator coil, and was happy to find out Eck was willing to take the job. Their technician Blake gave me an honest quote, removed the evaporator coil and cleaned the veritable quilt of dog hair lining the inside, removed about two inches of dog hair from the back of the unit, installed weather stripping to help curtail further dog hair slipping past the filter, replaced a blackened wire and capacitor with a loose connector he discovered in the outdoor unit, and just thoroughly cleaned it all up. It's running like new now. It used to be noisy and freezing up in the afternoon heat, and now it's almost silent, good strong air flow...
