Highly recommend seeing Erika (spelling?) at the clinic! Every time I’ve seen her, I was met with compassion, patience, understanding, and laughter. She is always willing to listen to my concerns and talks me through different treatment options that work for me. I’ve never felt rushed or unheard after leaving, which is important for any person receiving care. Plus, she’s funny and always gives me a good laugh. I always recommend her to anyone that I talk to about the clinic! Great job, great provider!!!

Haven't been able to get my bp since dr dinkle left they won't refill it. Killing me basically the rn that filled in is responsible. How you can justify a decision like that idk.

Everything was going great until checkout. My paperwork did not include the doctor's note for my employer. We waited 10min., then we were told the staff had gone to lunch. We waited an hour. Now it's been another 25 minutes. Moral of my story, if you need a doctor's note, don't leave the checkout window until you've got it.

I saw nurse practitioner Todd at the walk in clinic. I felt like he really listened to me and helped me more than any health care provider has here in Kansas. I highly recommend him and the walk in clinic. Thank you so much!

If it weren’t for Nurse Laura Pape—who works in the Rheumatology Department at Heartland Health Care Clinic—I might still be waiting for the surgery that had loomed over me for more than four years. That wait—long, painful, and full of disappointment—was only lifted because of her. She stepped in not just with knowledge, but with genuine compassion, listening without judgment and speaking in a way that makes complex medical systems finally make sense. She doesn’t talk over your head or rush you along; she makes you feel seen, understood, and cared for.
Just days before my scheduled surgery in February, I found out my surgeon no longer accepted my insurance. I was devastated. Completely thrown. But then—almost miraculously—I had an appointment with Laura. And as if by fate, she had just returned to work after receiving the very same surgery I had canceled. Instead of offering sympathy alone, she handed me a roadmap. She guided me through what I needed to do to push the surgery through the VA, even recommending doctors in the system. Thanks to her swift and thoughtful actions, I received my surgery in under two months.
My family and I say this without hesitation: Laura Pape is an angel. An angel placed in my life at one of the hardest moments. Her kindness and advocacy are the reason I’m healing today—not just physically, but emotionally too.

I’m very impressed with the people who answer the phone when you have questions or the people who check you in when you get there. Doctor Ziegler and his staff are very good at following up with things that they need or answers that I need. I’m very fortunate to be one of his new patients!

The appointment went well, as usual. All my concerns were addressed. The student doctor and Dr. Brown worked well together as a team. I feel confident that my health will improve due to their guidance and care. We are blessed to have our hospital so close to home.
