Don't be thrown off by how young and cute he looks. LOL! Dr. DeWitt has had other careers before this such as being an entrepreneur and owning multiple businesses in an unrelated field which means he decided to be a doctor as a 3rd career. How incredible one can go through college, residency, put in his time, and then become a doctor! I'm telling you it takes someone very genius to do that!!! BTW, To all the Ladies out there He was a former OB/GYN. He has the sweetest bedside manner. SO LADIES YES! You can speak to him about all your down there problems with ZERO AWKWARDNESS!!! *****NEGATIVE: They just moved in so the building is older and cabinets are ugly..... I know this review sounds too good to be true or from a family friend doing them a favor, however I found this practice online. I just moved here from California in November. Having multiple brain surgeries and an extensive list of medical diagnosis I had to establish care immediately. My life literally depended on it! They were able to see me within a week or two for inital appt. after I join their practice as a patient I'm able to get appts. within a week or next day!!! As for the other 50+ practices is takes 2 months to get first appointment or more in many different fields such as but not limited to; IUHealth, neurologist, vascular neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, endocrinologist, physical therapist, vestibular physical therapy, radiologist, Internalists, and many more. I need to have a team of doctors and to be honest I still don't have most of these established eight months later still waiting to get in. Pretty sad.“

“I had what I considered a real emergency situation. I couldn't sleep, I was irritated and red in some places on my body from the itching. I couldn't take it another day, my Dermatologist is closed on Wednesday, couldn't get a same day appointment at my primary care doctor. I had seen my Dermatologist a week earlier but he gave me an injection in hopes that would take care of my situation. It seemed to help but honestly didn't stop all the itching. Anyway I found myself sitting in the International Urgent Care parking lot. No other cars were on the lot but I just figured they were on lunch but they hadn't opened yet for the day. About 30 minutes later a black SUV pulled up. I knew this had to be the doctor, and maybe his wife. I waited for them to open the door and turn on the lights then I went up to the door only to find out it wasn't officially business hours yet. They wouldn't open til 3:30. I explained my situation to his wife and he heard my distress and came up front. He told me he would see me, thank God. Dr Khan is so professional, knowledgeable and caring. He read over my paperwork before he came into the room like a good doctor should. He explained to me what he thought could be the problem, explained what he would administer to me to help me. Even though I had wrote down all my medications I take, he still confirm each one with me. He made me feel like he really understood me and assured me he could help and he did. He gave me an injection in my left arm and told me he would need to wait 10 to 15 minutes to see if I had a reaction to it and I didn't. He told me he would also give me an injection of Benadryl which he did and waited again to see if I would have a reaction to it and I didn't. Thank God. When he came in the next time he explained that he was going to follow up with a steroid and some Atarax. He told me how to take the steroids and the Atarax which was detailed on the prescription. He also told me to get some Aveeno moisturizer, I already had the Aveeno bath. To make it short he wants to follow-up with me in 3 weeks. It's been an exceptional experience being seen by Dr Khan and his wife. She was so pleasant, both were. I told him I need him for my primary care doctor, that's how much I truly appreciated all the attention and care he provided. Thank you, Doctor Khan and your wife for such good care. If you need a good urgent care doctor and your insurance is approved, Dr Khan is the right doctor.“

“The best keep secret!! Having knowledge how most express cares are over crowded; this one was empty!! Worried about how long of a wait we might have; we did an “own our way”! To our surprise when we walked in the place was empty!! We got right in; the staff was amazing! Very professional and compassionate!! Listed to our concerns and showed empathy. The PA that treated my husband was amazing!! She explained everything in great detail and terms that both myself and my husband both could understand; didn’t use all these fancy medical terms.Very, very pleased with our experience and will definitely be using them again.“

“For heart health awareness during the month of February, CVS's Minute Clinic is providing free heart health screening only on Thursdays. Some locations will allow you to preregister online with the reason for your visit as "Wellness, Screening Monitoring" for a code. However, you will also need to provide a voucher from their website near the bottom under "heart health." Once you are at the clinic for your appt., you enter their code during sign-in and provide the nurse practitioner your voucher. Like all doctor appointments, arrive about 15 minutes early to go through the registration process (there at the kiosk). Here is a link to learn more about the event: If you are not a computer geek, you can call into their 1-800 number to preregister. The exam is like a physical but includes blood work of blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, etc. So be sure to fast about 12 hrs. to get your best results. My nurse practitioner was excellent. I was not expecting her to measure my waist circumference. Thankfully, I am not considered too big in that area. It is so important to know your numbers. Eat healthy and exercise or be actively moving are key to improving your numbers and preventing the need for a lifetime of medicine. So next Thursday Feb. 28, 2019 is your last chance this year to go for this offer.“

“I like the availability to walk in for care without an appointment. Wait is never long. "Excellent & thorough care." If needed you will be transferred to ER for detailed examination & tests. I experienced this once. You are given a detail paper copy of your results. I also use their lab for blood work & their PT rehab.“

“I don't understand the bad reviews here. I've had to go her twice now for 2 different injuries. The 1st I pulled my sciatic nerve working in the garden and the 2nd was in follow up to an ER visit after I broke my rib falling down a flight of stairs and bruising all my internal organs. I see Dr. Hume who is super smart and helpful. He educates you on your injuries and then asks you what approach you want to take on healing. I'm always given options. I refer him to everyone. The office staff for him is also the sweetest ladies. I’m getting older, and if I’m injured, Dr Hume is where I go! The only issue with them that I've noticed is you can get an appt faster than you can get a refill called in.“

Whereas 2 previous physicians never responded to my concerns and 1 MD said "there are no knots in the thigh. Amanda Hill ordered xrays of my thigh and found a lision mid thigh. Before I even left the facility on Friday I was scheduled to see an oncologist the following Monday and given an appointment with a IU primary care physician.“
