“I had the best first time experienced with Hniang! She definitely delivered what I wanted which was brownish color with settled dimension. I wanted something new from just regular normal black hair to brown color but NOT too different since I did not want to risk how it might looks. And Hniang did exactly that! “After recently moving to Bargersville, I was looking for a closer salon and hair stylist. I found Jess at Shades of Honey. She did a consultation with me first, and then we spent some time together for a Balayage. After getting home and using my own products, my hair wasn’t as light as I was hoping. I sent Jess a message and she was incredible! Such a polite and accepting reply (I had so many nerves about sending the text in the first place). She scheduled me asap to add a few more foils, and my hair is perfect now! The salon itself is so so cute and their bowls are actually comfortable. “Eric did an amazing job on my hair! He was recommended to me and even though it was my first time at the salon and my first time meeting him, I was immediately greeted when I walked in and felt welcomed right off the bat.
During the entire process it was like chatting with my best friend and I also got a fantastic hair cut and style out of it. He recommended hair products to use, insights on how to care for my hair type and issues I have, and gave me exactly the hair cut I wanted based on the photos and descriptions I gave him.
Even though he almost melted my face off with the blow dryer (I’m kidding ?) I would definitely return and I definitely am!

“I typically do not write reviews but I will on this one. I went in there to fix a cut. It is hard finding someone that can cut even, blend the fades and that you trust. I found one here. Her name is KELSEY. At first when she started using the shears I just about fell out of my chair thinking this is NOT what I want or expected. So, as asked her about it. She looked shocked. I didn’t want a bowl cut or Justin Bieber style. She promised me she would fix it and blend it. She was going off of notes from someone else. So at that point there’s no turning back. So she finishes, it’s shorter than I have had it in decades. As usual I go home wash it, dry it and put a little cream in it because was so short. It is the BEST hair cut I have had in decades. Short, even, blended perfectly, nice. I didn’t have come home and cut my bangs or anything else to be even or straight. I have found someone to cut my hair. She’s good. KELSEY“
