I recently purchased over $300 worth of Christmas decorations from For Every Friends Flora Shop owned by the DeLong’s, including a fully decorated, pre-lit small Christmas tree. When I got the tree home, the lights did not work at all. I immediately called the store to let them know. Their response was simply, “sorry.”
As a long-time New Haven customer, I was shocked. I was then told they had given me a “good deal” and that they *never* plug in the trees before selling them. I asked how they could sell a pre-lit tree without verifying that it actually works. Their response again was “sorry,” followed by an offer to give me a strand of lights.
If I had known the tree might not work, I never would have purchased it. This is misleading and unacceptable. At the very least, DeLong’s should plug in the pre-lit trees to make sure they function before selling them—customers deserve honesty and transparency. I’m disappointed and will not be returning.

Even though I've been coming to the plaza where it's located at for awhile it's my first time walking in and ordering flowers (for my grandmother and grandfather) and they did an AMAZING JOB!!! They did a red, white and blue themed display for him and yellow for her and I LOVED IT!!! GREAT JOB... I'll be using them in the future...

They were likely overwhelmed by many orders in the day before Mother's Day yet they were so kind in accepting my order when I had to be in Chicwith a family member in the hospital. They called to carefully review my internet order and shared well wishes for my family. Most of all, they expedited a beautiful arrangement to my mother and left me feeling relieved and reassured all the way through. I recommend this business to the highest degree (would give them 50 stars if I could)! Please give them your business - they deserve it.
