“Horse and Hound has been wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, we’ve had two horses get injured and Dr. Blackwell did a great job of getting them better. If your horse is lame she will find out why and get you on the road to recovery.
We also had the unfortunate experience of severe ulcers with one of our horses recently and Dr. Kemper did a wonder job of helping us clear them up. She educated us and got him on the right diet and future prevention steps to take before competing again.
Dr. Blackwell and Dr. Kemper both took the time to explain everything in depth. They are very thorough at what they do. I’ve been to other Vet’s where they rush through the exam and just want to inject your horse and send you on your way without finding the root cause and not have any real conversation or explanation as to what’s going on. You and your horse will get treated right at Horse and Hound!
The entire equine staff is great to be around. All the assistance and vet tech’s are great and treat your animal like it’s their own.
