The clinic itself is great. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable right away. The front desk staff and techs were kind and attentive, and overall the visit was positive. That said, I was a little disappointed with Dr. Grosch’s attention to detail during the exam. When listening to my dog’s heart/lungs, only one area was checked on the under side of my baby. I had always understood that vets typically listen in multiple spots around their chest, so that felt rushed and left me uneasy. I also felt that explanations were pretty minimal, I had to ask several follow-up questions to really understand what was going on, rather than being walked through things proactively. I truly appreciate how kind everyone was, but I do hope future visits involve more thorough exams and clearer communication. Friendly staff goes a long way, but careful, detailed assessments matter more

LOVE this place just wish they took appointments versus only walk in. Dr. B is amazing and takes great care of my old little girl. The front end staff and techs are all great!

The vet techs are very competent. The vets are very smart and compassionate. I’ve brought my cats and dogs here . They are a very well run business.

I want to start by saying I’ve been going to Lowell Animal Hospital for three years. I absolutely love their care towards my animals. I moved 25 minutes away and still used them.
That said, I’ve tried going in multiple times recently for my dogs annual check up. Since they don’t have appointments, you don’t know how busy they are until you get there. I was never told you could check in from the app at home. So I was calling, seeing they’re too busy, and leaving. When I called today, I asked for an estimate only to be told I couldn’t get one. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes. Then I went in to check and was told there were only a “few” people ahead of me and I should be coming in soon. At 2 hours, I went in and was told about the app and was told there’s never a Saturday that doesn’t have a 2 hour wait. I was also told there were 6 people ahead of me - which is way more than “a few” I was told 45 minutes ago.
Why wouldn’t you tell me there was at least a two hour wait when I originally asked? Why was I never told about the app prior to this? It is so incredibly disrespectful and inconsiderate of client’s time to just expect them to wait indefinitely in a parking lot with a dogs in the car.

Brought two different animals two different times and I have to say that everyone from the front desk to all the staff we encountered could not have been more compassionate and caring for my pets. I am new to this clinic and know I will not be going anywhere else ever! No one else will ever take care of my dogs other than Lowell Animal Hospital and their staff. Thank you, thank you thank you!!

First come first serve. Even with an appointment you can expect to sit in the waiting room for at least an HOUR! Super stressful for any pet sitting around in an uncomfortable environment with a bunch of different scents and new things. It's like they're waiting for your pet to pass out from stress before even taking a weight-in and waiting another HALF HOUR inside of a tiny room with no windows waiting for 2 simple routine vaccines. Very inconsiderate of peoples time. Please work on efficiency because if there was to be an emergency I don't think you're business would be able to handle it in time. Thanks.
