“I have some pretty out-there style aspirations for my poodle, Gucci, and the team at Golden Clipper has been absolutely fabulous with him throughout every single visit. Today, Golden Clipper continued working toward the look I envision for him, gently covering one eye a bit for a more dramatic, high-fashion editorial look. They completely understand this vision and have been wonderful about shaping and maintaining his top knot as it grows out.
They are also able to provide official color artistry, which I absolutely love. I cannot wait to eventually incorporate an official Gucci ribbon or emblem detail into his overall look to really set the design off.
Every time Gucci gets home from Golden Clipper, he immediately starts posing around the house like he just stepped out of a high-fashion editorial campaign. He had an attitude today and it shows in the photo, biting his metal and all,- that’s a new one. Mr tough guy. Gucci is definitely not a show dog in the traditional sense. However, he absolutely will strike a pose at any moment. All you have to say is, “Gucci, let me take a photo,” and his “trick” is pausing and Posing. He knows when he looks good.
His grooming always looks polished, balanced, expressive, and absolutely intentional. This is exactly the way we love our poodle to look!
