“I would recommend Wellstone in a heartbeat. The management doesn't seem to be the best, if I'm being honest, but the social workers, nurses, and techs genuinely care and are there to help their patients anyway they can. I always felt heard, respected, and validated (and as a member of the trans community, we are not always afforded these courtesies, even in healthcare). Their team that handles crises were incredible at de-escalating tense situations. The food was surprisingly good most of the time. Much love to the other patients who helped me while I was there. Much love and respect to my doctor and the staff who helped me: Voss, Tina, Abby, Mary-Margaret, Julie, Seth, Felix, Sam, Lexi, Grace, Caitlyn, James, KP, Will, Dahkota (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and all the folks whose names I didn't catch but who I'm so very grateful for. “I really like Jan and Ann as nurse practitioners, They are very friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. However the medication department is terrible. They do not respond to refill requests from the pharmacy. I have had the issue for years and it never improves. I stay because of, first Jan and now Ann as they are great.“
