Review of 1 employee: I went to buy a gift for my daughter. Browsed for a bit, made selections and paid. We used the restroom before leaving and when I walked out with my younger daughter, my eldest comes up to me to show me a swatch. It didn’t work with her skin tone, we’re darker latinas. One of the employees there decides to intervene by asking, do you need help putting those back? My daughter says I don’t have them anymore. I asked her where she put them, since sometimes you set things down somewhere else. The employee goes “ yeah where did you put them?” We all know the tone of voice, accusing but customer servicy. I went to Ulta July 6th for face powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow and possibly new mascara. I went through the whole store looking for these things. Not one associate asked if they could help me find something. They were too busy hanging out together and talking.
All I ended up buying was eyeshadow.
The store was busy while I was there and many of the associates were helping other customers. My spouse and I decided to find the items we could first and waited for a while by the fragrances. After a while, we decided to just check out without choosing a cologne, but while checking out, we asked Alayna if she could unlock the fragrances we were interested in. She was very helpful and patient while we chose our favorites. Kristifor was also very helpful when it was time for us to check out! Despite the store being busy we still had a good experience.
