This team is amazing! My cat had cancer causing osteonecrosis in his feet. We scheduled a date to amputate the toes but day of the appointment the Dr called and informed me the entire front leg needed to go. This was over the holidays and the situation had gotten worse since the last exam. Dr Thunnel also told me that he caught a virus over the holidays and didn’t feel he could competently complete such a massive surgery in his current condition. I know this will be a lengthy review. I want to start by saying I had my Yorkie at her regular vet over the years and she’s had her teeth clean. The last time she’s had her teeth clean she was constantly hacking and I went back to my vet and they couldn’t seem to stop the hacking. I was very concerned. I wasn’t getting the answers that I truly needed. . However, the Dr. at the Shelbyville veterinarian clinic on Shelbyville Road.
