This braiding shop is very unprofessional and charges ridiculous prices for kids hair. I just wanted the top half of my 9 year old daughter hair rebraided, corn rows, probably 10 braids. The braider told me $80. I tried to negotiate a price, but she stuck to $80. So, I politely left and went up the street to J's AFRICAN BRAIDING and she charged me HALF the price!! If you want reasonable priced braides, Go to J's. 🙂

The braids were beautiful the service was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. My first appointment was the first one there at 8am didn’t start my hair until 1130 because of having to wait for the key to get in & then having to wait for them to clean & find something to watch. Another girl walk in got straight to it as im still waiting. It seemed like they didn’t want to do the requested color, but they made it work thankfully. The prices were different than what i was told as well. I asked to come for a touch up since I’m leaving on vacation was told to come any time any day i still took it upon myself to let them know what day/time to expect me and was told to come back 3 times back to back. It didn’t matter if there was an appointment i was told no tomorrow each day. I personally do not plan to come back & everyone i referred I’ve advised them to not waste their time or money

I wouldn’t even give this service 1 star. These braiders are terrible and very unprofessional. Went there yesterday. I was told the owner and her sister was going to do my hair, she never even showed up. I got there 9am didn’t leave till after 7pm for boho braids bob. They told me one price then argued that it’s another price. They used two different color in my hair 1 and 1b just grabbing hair from wherever. They spend more time talking about people then braiding. My hair looks nothing like what they advertise. It’s a matted up mess because they dipped the hair straight then rolled it in the rod. Who does that with boho hair, you move the curly hair out of the way. I am a braider myself but didn’t have time to do it myself. Trusted these lazy ass braiders and I’m very disappointed. I text Sandra to let her know of my issues she never offered to fix my hair or anything. Do not go here, they are terrible. And my braids are all kind of sizes. Now I have to cut this matted up shit out and paid 220 never again. 😡

This place is TERRIBLE! Do NOT come here!!!! I came in today 3/6/25 at 11am & Left 12am 03/07/25 smh. I got some knotless braids that would normally take 7- 8 hours the most. The lady braided so slow & took her time. She did NOT speak english & keep snatching my head! There were other customers here that was able to get 2 braiders on their heads to make it faster but I have been here for 12 hours and no help at all & they expect you take pay the full amount. Smh DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Waste of time & money.

So I called on Wednesday to make an appointment on Friday morning for me and my daughter. Told her what we wanted. When we got here the lady told me that my daughter had to have her own hair for the price $150. Then I said that’s ok she begged for us to come back in. My daughter was trying to get directions for her newborn to get to the doctor and they are yelling in her ear talking. She said excuse me. Then they started yelling at her saying she was being disrespectful. Because she should go outside. Then I told my daughter this isn’t normal when I come and then the lady jumped into the conversation between me and my daughter yelling. I said I’m talking to my daughter and she said but you are talking about us. I said but I’m not talking to you. She kept talking. Like she wanted to argue. I don’t come here that often but I will never come here again. Their customer service sucks! And they are late and you might have to have your own hair!!! Oh and you have to pay cash or CashApp and you pay the fee for CashApp… let that speak volumes about this place. A total waste of time. Don’t bother… Find somewhere else!

Terrible service I’m never coming back again. Never. Called them at 10 Came at 1 and I’ve been waiting for 3 hours. I feel like crying my entire day is wasted. Now 4 hours they did 3 braids to keep me here and are working on someone else. Said she had an appointment they forgot about. And now I’m being charged 30 more than I was told previously
