Dr. Harris and his staff are incredible! Their care and attention to their patients really distinguishes them from other dental offices I’ve been to. Highly recommend!

My husband made appointments for both of us and scheduled a half day off work, etc. The day before the appointments I received a phone call from a “potential spam” and didn’t answer. Less than an hour later I received a text at 4:30 PM stating that my appointment the next day would be canceled because I didn’t return a phone call to confirm. I replied to the text immediately stating that I was unaware that there was a condition that I had to confirm the appointment - I am an adult and if I make an appointment I’m going to show up for the appointment unless I cancel without jumping through hoops to confirm. They replied to the text saying that they could reschedule me and would not be seeing me for my scheduled appointment. My husband called and they explained they canceled both of our appointments and we’d have to reschedule. Mind you, he gave them all of his information as our family information when he made the appointment and at the end they asked for my phone number as well - they did not call him to confirm his appointments at all or use the number he gave, but rather only called my phone number. Seems to me like they were overbooked and used this as an excuse because there is no way they filled our noon appointments between 4:38 PM the evening before and 8 AM the next morning. This was our first experience with this practice and can’t imagine putting up with this kind of service. We will be telling our referring physician and also anyone we know in the area because when you lose a days work and are inconvenienced to this degree, it’s completely unacceptable. As someone in the medical field, this is not standard practice from the practitioner's point of view. As a dental patient with an ortho appointment today 3 hours later than the appointment scheduled with Midwest Integrative Dental Medicine, this didn't happen with them... or with any other provider I've gone to in all these 55 years. Not normal, standard, or okay.

This is the most amazing dental office. I had a root canal that was infected for over 10 years and needed my tooth extracted. I was so scared but the hygienist was the best in calming me down.
After the extraction and the numbness wore off, I was waiting for the pain. I had absolutely no pain, no swelling and no bruising!!! Dr Harris and PRF therapy is the BEST!!

After being told my sister might need a root canal by a local dentist, I brought her to Dr. Harris for a second opinion—and I’m so glad I did. Not only did he take the time to thoroughly evaluate everything, but he reassured us with honesty and compassion: no root canal needed. Just care, precision, and a conservative approach that put us completely at ease.

He even used ozone therapy to gently sanitize the area before the filling—something you don’t see everywhere. It’s clear he’s not only skilled, but forward-thinking and committed to doing what’s best for his patients.

Dr. Harris is a holistic dentist who goes beyond traditional care—offering treatments like PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), ozone therapy, bone grafting, and safe amalgam filling removal. It’s rare to find someone who blends innovation with such genuine care for overall health.

When I told him I brought my family to him because I trust him, his reaction said everything. That kind of care and humility is rare.

It’s so important to put your health—and your family’s health—in the hands of people who truly care. I’m so grateful to have found that here. I would fly just to make sure we receive this level of care every time.

If you’ve ever felt unsure or scared at the dentist, just know there are people out there who genuinely care and take the time to do things right. Today was proof of that.

I have avoided the dentist for an embarrassingly long time and my family has gone here for a few years. I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had and Shanice is an amazing, careful and positive vibe filled hygienist that made the uncomfortable visit better than just tolerable. Totally rebooting my thinking on dental maintenance after this experience.

Starting w/the front desk receptionists Shannon & Katherine, my appointment scheduled a week out resulted in a same day appointment thanks to Shannon and I’m so grateful for her help. Dr. Harris is running an amazing practice, very knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. I came in for a second opinion on a root canal turns out I didn’t need it, I felt so comfortable during my visit from the pleasant DH to the warm blanket. Last night I read some people’s testimonies of integrative dentistry vs traditional dentistry and I started thinking it was a better fit for me. I was scheduled for a tooth extraction w/ my original dentist today but I wrestled all night long w/ my decision and after reading other people’s experiences w/ integrative dentists I decided to google “integrative dentists near me”. This office was the first to pop up and the reviews were promising. Took a quick look on the website and decided I would give them a call when they opened (I was looking around 10pm last night). This morning I called around 8:30am not thinking they would be open bc it said 9am and hoped to leave a voicemail, but Katherine answered the phone. I explained my situation and she let me know I would receive a call back around 10 when the office manager Shannon came in. Well Shannon actually called me at 847 and I told her what was going on and she told me to come on in. I was ecstatic and grateful for the prompt scheduling. I get there, fill out some paperwork, and go back. everyone is so friendly!! They offer neck pillows and blankets and allow you to watch tv. The tooth extraction & bone graft (I plan for an implant) was pretty quick and was actually a lot more affordable than I expected. I was previously quoted $2200 for extraction and bone graft and I paid less than a fourth of that today. All in all I would definitely be returning and wish I would have came here from the start 1.5 months ago.

There was a warmth and joy in the hygienists, assistants, office staff as well as Dr. Harris. Not only were they awesome, but very professional and thorough! I can't say enough about this practice. My husband was the patient and I will certainly be next!!
