We utilized Lavenia and Summers to bury my daddy. We worked with Miss Joie, alongside Reverend Peck. Miss Joie is awesome, compassionate, and did everything in order and decency. Cremation was the route and she explained the process to us so well, I felt comfort during the entire process. The "urn spray" was one of Miss Joie's favorites, and I am so glad we chose that option because she had my daddy's urn looking so beautiful. This was my first time working with Lavenia and Summers and I am grateful we went in this direction. Definitely would recommend Lavenia and Summers. Ask for Miss Joie and if possible, Reverend Peck as well. Awesome team 💖☺️

I want to Thank Lavenia’s Funeral Home Staff for helping me with the home going of my husband. George you are one in a million you go that extra extra mile you have always helped my family ever time we have had a funeral there you have treated us like family and made us feel special you have been with us every step of the way each and every time and for that I thank you. This was my husband’s funeral and this was the hardest thing I ever had to do I thought going through my mom’s funeral was hard no this was so so hard but you were there ever step of the way. I got sick with a cold and wasn’t eating you checked on me to make sure I was okay thank you. Lavenia did a wonderful job my husband look at peace just like he was sleeping they did his beard the way I wanted it done from the picture I give them it was tight as the young people would say you did everything I ask I was pleased with everything. The day of the Funeral your staff was wonderful you made sure the service went the way I wanted it.
