Normally I don’t do this.I couldn’t resist in this matter.From the previous to recent experiences I have had from here.My opinion is,I would highly suggest and advise anyone to STAAAAAAAAY steer far away from this entity place thats called a business.Not going to say names or go into detail.Considering the factor and In the time of your need.You're rushed.Very unprofessional,unpleasant to deal with.If time is available and not of the essence.Do some research and choose wisely,I now have learned that there is better options out there. To where You're welcomed.Treated with respect not just another customer and appreciated for the business at a cheaper rate.Never again

To the Staff at Flanner & Buchanan – Floral Park,
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the exceptional care you provided during my brother Mark’s visitation. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted warmly and guided with such kindness. The entry area, the hallways, the kitchen, and the visitation room were all spotless, beautifully lit, and thoughtfully arranged. It was clear how much care goes into maintaining your facility.
The visitation room itself was remarkable — spacious, comfortable, and set up in a way that allowed our family to gather, talk, and remember Mark without ever feeling crowded. The seating areas, the picture stands, the video display, and the placement of the flowers created a peaceful and welcoming space. When I asked for an additional stand for a photo, it was brought immediately, without hesitation.
The kitchen amenities were beyond anything I’ve seen in a funeral home — clean, well‑stocked, and truly accommodating for families who need a moment to rest or gather. Every staff member we encountered was gracious, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed.
I have been to many funeral homes over the years, and what I experienced at Floral Park truly exceeded anything I’ve seen. Your professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made a difficult day easier for all of us. Thank you for honoring Mark with such dignity and care.

The Sound system volume was so low you could not hear minister speaking or any of the testimonies, also music quality was of very poor quality. Evidently no one was monitoring sound volume or quality. I was very disappointed in your service and friendliness. Very unprofessional, one star is the lowest available rating I could give.

This place is extremely unprofessional. I was approached in the middle of my Moms service In front of a room full of grieving family and friends to sign paperwork. This is after I called several times with no response before traveling 3k miles from Vegas to IN. Very disrespectful staff that treated my family with no regard. I witnessed a director respond with disgust when someone asked for water. Instead of doing his job which was to assist. He rudely stated to look in the kitchen, then ignored her when asked where is the kitchen! A week later and they still have not completed her tomb. Zero compassion, and horrible customer service. The only explanation for the way my family was treated is blatant racism!

I have a lot of family resting here—paternal grandparents, my maternal grandpa, cousins, and most recently, my brother. This place holds so many amazing people. The grounds are well-kept, and the staff is always kind. A peaceful place to visit and remember.

So strange to give a 5 star review to a place you really never want to visit, but the reality is, we do visit. Flanner Buchanan handled my mother’s funeral and burial. From beginning to end they made the process so simple. The entire staff was great to work with and you can sense they really care about doing their job and treating families with the utmost respect. I thought that was enough, but today, my dad received the nicest text message from the team just checking on him. Above and beyond. While most of my family is buried in Floral Park, I would still highly recommend Flanner Buchanan. Thank you Tim and team for the best experience under the circumstances.
