Friendly staff and knowledgeable of the process. Respectful, patient and compassionate. Lauren, Funeral Director at Broad Ripple location was a professional and pleasure to work with before, during, and afterward as we had a need to fly my mother back home to Georgia for her final resting.
Their embalming process was wonderful. My mother looked just like her picture we provided; down to the hair style that they had to cut and style a wig. My family in Georgia and Florida were impressed and happy she looked great as if she was normally sleeping. They shipped her well protected in her casket on the cargo plane that my mother didn’t require any touch-up by the receiving funeral home. The casket also was not damaged during shipment. They ensured her body and casket was respected as well.
Flanner Buchannan is a great selection if you have a unique need or the usual process. They made the process smooth and easy as this is always a tough time for families to navigate.

Horrible post burial services by the location on East Washington Street !! Once my girlfriends mother (Katheryn rest her soul) was laid to rest, April 2020 in the mausoleum, it was discovered that her vase and memorial brass name ring was crushed by the forklift used to lift her casket into place. This was reported to the onsite staff early May, 2020 and it is now Dec. and it's still not corrected. Therefore the family has not been able to leave flowers in remembrance of their mother for Memorial Day, her birthday, Mothers Day, the parents anniversary or any other holiday in 2020. It also took more than 6 months for Katheryn's headstone to be engraved with her date of passing, which took 5 discussions with onsite staff of this location. Such an injustice and mistreatment to the deceased family. In particular Michael Bridgewater who spoke rudely to one of the daughters in a phone call regarding said topics, after escalating the issue to his superior. We will NEVER consider using this firm for funeral or burial services in the future.
