WHen i went to get my prescription filled I was told that it would be 2 weeks. After paying and waiting to weeks i called back and they then said it would be 4 weeks. Sure dont like how they switched it up after they got my bussiness wont be going back

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Tavel’s office. I scheduled back-to-back appointments for both myself and my son and made a significant effort to be there on time—including picking my child up from school specifically for this visit.
We arrived at 9:17 for a 9:15 appointment, which is well within what most reasonable offices would consider a minimal delay. However, despite there being a wait and not being immediately checked in, I was told there is “no grace period.” By the time the receptionist completed check-in, it was 9:22—yet somehow that was held against us.
What made the situation even more frustrating was being told the optometrist refused to see my son because “two people were ahead of him.” That explanation makes no sense given that his appointment was already scheduled, and mine followed shortly after. If there were already multiple patients ahead, that reflects an issue with scheduling and workflow—not the patient.
The lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic professionalism was disappointing. I communicated my situation clearly, had my children with me, and still felt dismissed rather than accommodated.
This experience came across as inconsiderate at best and biased at worst. I left feeling frustrated, inconvenienced, and completely undervalued as a patient.
I would not recommend this office to families or anyone expecting reasonable understanding and professionalism.

I’m a preschool teacher and I ran into one of my students at the eye doctor hadn’t seen him in five years. His mom told me she loved this facility, but I have been coming here for years myself and no complaints from me.. and very friendly staff

They couldn't give me an estimate for my medical appointment, only gave me a minimum of what it would cost. Luckily it was the minimum for me but only because they couldn't help me and told me I needed to see a specialist. Just was shady. They lacked compassion.
